About Us

Hi everyone!  I’m Michael Newcomb.  I’ve been a professional small town photographer for twenty five plus years. That means I specialized in almost every kind of photography possible. These days I  enjoy spending time teaching new photographers what I have learned,  about light…..and people,  and what makes a great photograph.  I am also spending more time with nature, photographing the beauty of the northwest, and refining my fine art photography.

My wife Pamala has been a big part of the business, as a manager and artist.  She does incredibly cool things with the creation of her Photoshop templates and digital  backgrounds that we offer in our store.

I have a masters degree in applied psychology, and bachelor’s degree in pyschology as well.  My psychology background has been very helpful in my work with photographing people.  I continue to study psychology as I continue my work in photography. I do a limited amount of counseling and consulting as time permits.

Pamala is an inspiring digital artist. You can see her templates and digital fine art pieces here on our site. We are currently planning a new gallery here in Grants Pass to better showcase Pam’s work, and my fine art nature photography.
